This tech startup is growing fast - and it was time to gather the troops and have the first company offsite. And like many tech companies, things move fast. When they contacted Abuzz, they had 150 employees scattered across the country and just a date - which was one month away.
This nonprofit wanted to bring together stakeholders from across the State, but had never produced a conference before. With a limited budget and no room for going over, they had big ideas and the desire for everything to look professional.
Big visions don't faze us - we also want an event to be everything it can be, and we have the tech and design know how to pull it off. We located and handled the contracting for a fantastic location, created a savvy website and registration system, created an overall look for the event that carried through to all the print and web elements, and handled all the logistics surrounding this first time two day conference attended by over 300. It worked out perfectly, and we came in under budget.
We dug to the true roots of this event, and built upon the strengths - connections and conversation, and added a new element of a retreat-like feel. The revamp was very effective, and the event has grown.
